"The craft of hairdressing found me. I was sitting in a Psych class and a classmate asked if I wanted a job helping out at the front desk of a new salon on the weekends. Twenty- eight years later, I am so glad I said, "sure, why not."
I did my foundation training at the Vidal Sassoon Academy for one year, tried NYC on for a while, and eventually found myself back home in Charlottesville. I specialize in precision cuts and certified curly hair cutting techniques. I am well versed in color, including taming those beastly greys. I am good for chatting about the every day, a good laugh, a tissue to dab the tears, and a great travel tips. I love that this career still challenges me in all the best possible ways and that I am still honing my craft. I seek out education often, at live events and online, and bring that new knowledge back to my clients.

Policies
Service Redo & Retail Return Policy
We strive to offer guests the highest level of guest satisfaction. If you are having challenges with your cut or color, let your stylist know within 10 days of your visit and they will be happy to correct the issue with no additional charge. Should you make a retail purchase that you are unsatisfied with, HairSmith and Co will give full refunds 30 days from your initial purchase and credit on items 60 days from your initial purchase
Appointment Cancellation Policy
In order to continue providing the best possible scheduling options to our guests, HairSmith & Co require 48 hours notice should you need to cancel or reschedule your visit. Should you cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours' notice, you may be charged a $25 per hour booked fee (ex: a reservation for a highlighting is an average of three hours, the fee would be $75). The fee will be due before your appointment can be rescheduled.
No Show Policy
We understand that emergencies come up but if you do not show up for an appointment then we cannot fill it last minute. Clients who do not show up for their reserved time will no longer be able to pre-book their appointments and will only have appointment access by going on the cancellation list
